Staying safe
- Do not give your password to anyone. Network staff and services never ask for it in a message.
- NickServ and ChanServ talk to you only when you write to them. Be careful with anyone who messages you first claiming to be staff.
- You can type
/ignorein many IRC clients to hide a person; in the Web Chat ask a room operator to remove people who bother you.
