Install the App

Google Chrome

Windows 11 · Chrome

    Open our site in Chrome

    Go to conferencerooms.org/chat/ in Google Chrome.

    Find the Install icon

    Look for the Install icon in the address bar.

  3. 3

    Click Install

    Select Install and follow the confirmation prompt. The app opens in its own window.

If you don’t see the Install icon…

Open the Chrome menu (three dots), select Cast, save, and share, then select Install page as app and confirm.

Find it anytime in the Windows Start menu. Right-click it to pin it to the taskbar.

Microsoft Edge

Windows 11 · Edge

    Open our site in Edge

    Go to conferencerooms.org/chat/ in Microsoft Edge.

    Find the install icon

    Look for the App available or Install icon in the address bar.

    Select Install

    Select Install and confirm. The app opens in its own window.

If you don’t see the installation icon…

Open the Edge menu (three dots), select More tools, then Apps, then Install this site as an app.

Pin the installed app to your taskbar or Start menu for one-click access.

Google Chrome

macOS · Chrome

    Select the three dots in the corner of the Edge window.

    Select More tools, then Apps, then Install this site as an app.

macOS Sonoma 14 or later · Safari

    Go to conferencerooms.org/chat/ in Safari.

    Open the File menu

    In the Mac menu bar at the top of the screen, select File.

    Add to Dock

    Select Add to Dock, give the application a name if you like, then click Add.

The app appears in the Dock, and you can also launch it through Spotlight or Applications.

Safari

iPhone & iPad · Safari

    Open our site in Safari

    Go to conferencerooms.org/chat/ in Safari on your iPhone or iPad.

    Tap the Share button

    Tap Share, the square with an arrow pointing up (bottom of the screen on iPhone, top on iPad).

    Add to Home Screen

    Scroll down if needed, tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.

The app lands on your Home Screen and opens full-screen, with no Safari address bar in the way. Find it any time in the App Library too.

Firefox or Chrome

Linux · Bookmark it

    Go to conferencerooms.org/chat/ in Firefox or Chrome.

    Bookmark the page

    Press Ctrl+D, or select the star in the address bar.

    Keep it on the toolbar

    Show the bookmarks toolbar so your room is always one click away.

    Tap the three dots in the corner of the Chrome window.

    Install the app

    Tap Install app. If you do not see it, tap Add to Home screen instead, then confirm.

The app opens full-screen like a native app. Find it on your Home screen or in the app drawer. On Firefox for Android, open the menu and tap Add to Home screen instead.

Firefox or Chromium

BSD · Bookmark it

Using another browser? Open the Web Chat and bookmark it — the one-click install prompt needs Chrome, Edge, or Safari (iPhone and iPad use the Share menu instead). On Linux or BSD, bookmark the page - see the Linux or BSD tab above. On Android, use Chrome.
