Access masks
Recognized without typing a password.
Operators only. This section is for IRC operators.
An access mask is a pattern for your connection, such as *!*@home.example.net. If you connect from a matching address, NickServ recognizes you at the lowest level without a password.

Levels you may see
ACC level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 2 | You identified with the password. |
| 1 | You match an access mask. |
| 0 | Neither. |
Check someone with /ns ACC nickname. Rooms that require identification (IDENT on) do not accept level 1.
Careful. Only add masks for places only you use. Anybody at a matching address is treated as you.
