Kick and ban
Remove people from a room.

Kick

/kick nickname Please keep it friendly
The person leaves the room but can come back. The reason is shown to everyone and may be up to 180 characters.
Ban

/ban nickname /unban nickname
A ban keeps a person out. Bans match a mask, a pattern of nickname!username@host. Banning by nickname creates a mask for that person's address, so they cannot return under another nickname from the same place.
To ban and kick together, ban first and then kick.
Remove a ban
irc
/unban nickname /bans
/bans shows the list (the Web Chat has a Refresh the ban list button). Registered rooms: /cs UNBAN #room nickname, or /cs UNBAN #room * to clear all (SOP or founder).
Sorry, you cannot do that
Some people cannot be kicked or banned. See Operators in rooms.
Careful. A ban on a wide mask, such as everyone from one provider, also stops innocent people. Use the narrowest mask that works, or an autokick.
