Operator commands

The commands built into the server that only operators can use.

Type /hs <command> for the help text of each one. Those marked with a link have a page in this Help Center.

Command	What it does
`OPER name password`	Become an operator.
`KILL`	Disconnect a user from the network.
`KLINE` / `UNKLINE`	Ban a user mask from the server.
`DLINE` / `UNDLINE`	Ban an address range.
`QLINE` / `UNQLINE`	Reserve or free a nickname.
`RESV` / `UNRESV`	Reserve a room name or nickname mask.
`XLINE` / `UNXLINE`	Ban a real-name pattern.
`ZLINE`	Ban an address.
`GLOBOPS`, `LOCOPS`, `WALLOPS`, `CHATOPS`	Notices to operators or to everyone.
`CONNECT`, `SQUIT`, `LINKS`, `MAP`	Link and unlink servers.
`REHASH`	Reload the configuration.
`RESTART`, `DIE`	Restart or stop the server. Disconnects everyone.
`STATS`	Server statistics.
`TRACE`, `ETRACE`	Connection information.
`CLOSE`	Close unregistered connections.
`SET`	Change server limits at run time.
`MODULE`	Load and unload server modules.

Careful. RESTART and DIE drop every user and wipe the state of every room, including bans. Warn people first and restart rarely.
