CR Share
Files and images for your rooms, with links that only work in the Web Chat.
CR Share is built into the chat. There is no separate app to open.
CR Share sends a file or image to the room. Upload it, get a short .crorg link, and the room gets the link automatically. It is for transfer, not for permanent storage.
How to upload
- Bubbles and Classic: use the + button beside the message box, or drag a file onto the composer, or paste an image.
- Phone: tap + and pick a photo or file.
- The link is sent to the room when the upload finishes. Images show inline with a full-screen viewer; other files download.

The links are chat-only
A CR Share link looks like https://confrooms.crorg/share/<id>. It is not a public web address: it has no public DNS and no public download page. Clicking it inside the Web Chat creates a short-lived passthrough on conferencerooms.org, tied to that chat session and expiring after a few minutes. Someone outside the Web Chat cannot open it.
Anyone in the Web Chat who has the link and a live session can open it. Share it only with the people you mean to share with.
Temporary storage, never an archive
CR Share is temporary transfer storage, not permanent or archival storage. A file is deleted when its link expires, when you delete it, or earlier for abuse or legal reasons. We do not keep a backup and cannot restore expired or deleted files. Keep your own copy of anything important.
Manage your files
Open your files in the Web Chat to see your usage, copy links and delete files. Administrators can manage all files from the admin console.
