Let thousands ask. Show only the best.

Two rooms turn a noisy crowd into a question inbox that your guest can actually use.

A celebrity, 2,000 fans and one chat.

You have a popular guest and a lot of people with questions. Every simple setup fails in its own way.

Everyone can talk

Your guest drowns in noise, repeated questions and spam.

Nobody can talk

A fully moderated room keeps the noise out and the audience too.

One moderator reads it all

They cannot tell the audience's questions from the guest's answers.

How it works.

You use two rooms. The audience sees one of them. Only your team sees the other.

RoomWho is in itWhat it does
#live-chatAudience, guest and hostsThe stage. Moderated: only people with a voice or operator status can talk.
#live-scanModerators and the guestThe question inbox. Secret, so the audience never knows it is there.
Audience

Ask a question

Guests type in the stage room. Nobody there sees it, because the room is moderated.

Secret room

The inbox

Moderators see every question with the asker's name. Only they can read it.

An evening, minute by minute.

1

The audience asks

Questions are typed in the stage room. The room is moderated, so nobody sees them there. No noise, no pile-ups, no repeats on the screen.

2

Moderators see everything

In the inbox, every question appears with the name of the person who asked. Only the moderators can read it.

3

The best go on stage

A moderator picks a good question and posts it on the stage, where moderators have a voice. The whole audience reads it, and the guest answers below it.

4

The rest goes nowhere

Spam and repeats never reach the stage, and the guest is never interrupted.

Why it is built this way.

Two separate rooms

The stage stays readable and the inbox can be as busy as it likes.

A secret inbox

The audience cannot ask to be let in or flood it.

A clear label

The inbox is marked as the place questions arrive, so everyone on the team can see how the event is wired.

Want more than one screener? Event Management supports several levels of moderation, so a first pair of eyes can weed out spam before the producer picks what the host sees.

Setting it up.

The question forwarding is switched on for your event by ConferenceRooms staff. Ask us when you plan it. The rest is yours.
