CommandWhat it is for
BOTBots are simulated clients that act as your agent in a room. Bots have three functions. The first is to keep a room open so that it will show in the list.
CHANThe chan command is used in conjunction with the bot command to place server bots into rooms. The chan commands can also be set to greet everyone who enters the room.
CLIENTThe client command set lets you add client profiles for the server. A profile is a set of commands that set certain restrictions on users as they try to join the server.
CPSFlood control: how many messages one person may send to the same target in that time before being throttled. 0 0 turns it off.
DNSBLA connecting address that is listed in one of the zones is disconnected and banned for 30 minutes. Operators, web chat and local addresses are never checked. Off until you turn it on.
DUMPThis command will list all of your configuration settings for your server.
EVENTScheduled announcements: NFLASH goes to users with +n, GFLASH and GLOBAL to everybody.
FAQThe FAQ command allows you to read numerous help files on subjects that several people have problems with.
FIELDThe field commands allow you to define additional fields that will become a part of a user's information. An example of a field is the Oper field.
FILTERThe filter command provides a method to prohibit words in the list by displaying asterisks *** in a room, or private message instead of the forbidden word.
GENERALThe network name and description. The ircd is rehashed; clients that are already connected see the new name when they reconnect.
HELPThis is your online help manual for specific AdminServ commands. You can retrieve help files for any AdminServ command.
MOTDThe message of the day that every user sees when connecting (the server message).
NEWSUp to 10 news lines. Everybody who connects is shown them as a notice.
OPERUse /as oper to add or delete the network operators defined on your system. Options include access masks, flags or capabilities.
PRIVILEGEADMIN - Server Administrator (flag a)
SECURITYSecurity options help you manage and protect your server.
SERVICESThere are some aspects of ConferenceRooms Services that you can customize to your needs. Some examples are that nickname and room registration can be individually enabled and disabled.
THROTTLEHow many connections one address may open in a short time. Without numbers it shows the setting. 0 0 turns it off. The ircd is rehashed; nobody is disconnected.
URLFILTWhile it is on, people with an unregistered nickname cannot post links (http:, https:, ftp:, www.) in rooms or private messages, unless they have voice or ops in the room.
UTILThe UTIL commands run server and services commands from AdminServ. They duplicate the functionality of various server commands.
